The mission 2.0

The Goethe Institut promotes worldwide knowledge of Germany by offering insights into its culture, society, and language. Our mission was to make learning German exciting for Swedish teenagers. We needed to update our successful 2016 campaign to resonate with today’s more socially connected teens—using platforms like TikTok and YouTube to engage them in fresh, dynamic ways.

The mission 1.0

Several years ago, we developed the concept 'Ich Liebe Tyska' and then designed the campaign. Due to the different ages of the target audiences, the campaign was divided into two separate parts. The older teenage audience was reached through a more visual campaign with a strong graphic expression. We chose schools as the platform and created posters and brochure materials. A campaign website provided additional information.
